Our Approach to Sustainability
At EVP Group, part of ADDVANCE Consumer Health Group, we are developing our approach to sustainability and ESG across our European consumer health business.
Our activities include manufacturing, sourcing and distribution and have environmental and social impacts across our own operations and value chain. Our approach focuses on understanding these impacts, improving transparency and progressively integrating relevant environmental, social and governance considerations into our business processes.
In 2025, we assessed the sustainability topics most relevant to ADDVANCE and its stakeholders. Key areas include climate and energy, resource use and packaging, our supply chain, our workforce, and product safety and quality.

Our Sustainability Focus Areas
Climate, Energy & Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Understanding where greenhouse gas emissions occur is an important basis for our climate-related activities.
ADDVANCE records Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Due to our business model, which combines manufacturing with international sourcing and distribution, a significant share of our emissions occurs within the value chain.
Our current focus is on improving the underlying data, particularly for Scope 3 emissions, and using these insights to further develop our climate management. At selected locations, we are also assessing opportunities to increase the use of renewable electricity.
Resources & Packaging
Raw materials and packaging are important drivers of resource use within our business.
Across the Group, current activities include reviewing packaging sizes, reducing unnecessary filling materials, assessing recyclability and preparing for regulatory requirements such as the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.
For selected product ranges, refill concepts and alternative packaging formats have already been introduced. Individual companies and brands are also testing further solutions, including mono-material concepts for selected blister applications.
We are continuing to improve the availability and consistency of data on material use and waste across our operations.
Supply Chain & Supplier Standards
Our international supply chain includes suppliers of raw materials, ingredients, packaging and finished products.
Our approach to managing potential social and environmental risks in upstream activities includes supplier requirements, contractual obligations and assessment processes. In 2025, ADDVANCE introduced a Group-wide Supplier Code of Conduct covering areas including human rights, labour standards, occupational health and safety, environmental protection and business ethics.
ADDVANCE is also a member of Sedex, and supplier assessments and audit formats such as SMETA are used where appropriate.
Our People
Around 700 employees work across ADDVANCE’s European locations.
Our people-related activities include occupational health and safety, employee feedback, training and professional development. In 2025, employees completed an average of 49 hours of training per person.
We are also continuing to develop Group-wide HR structures and processes. Diversity, equal opportunities and respectful collaboration are addressed through our Code of Conduct, which defines common principles for employees across the Group.
Product Safety & Quality
Product safety, quality and transparent product information are fundamental aspects of our business.
ADDVANCE operates across regulated consumer health categories including food supplements, cosmetics, medical devices and medicinal products. Applicable regulatory requirements, testing and approval processes form the basis for product development, manufacturing and quality control.
Depending on the company, location and product category, these processes are supported by recognised standards and certification systems.
Our Certifications for Ethical and Sustainable Practices
Our corporate group is dedicated to sustainability and responsible practices across all areas. We consistently aim to integrate ecological, social, and economic responsibility into our processes. To support this, several locations within our group are certified according to recognized standards, underscoring our commitment to maintaining the highest quality and environmental benchmarks. Depending on the location and specific focus, we apply tailored standards to enhance our sustainable practices even further.

ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System
We are dedicated to utilizing natural resources efficiently, ensuring their environmentally friendly disposal, and minimizing greenhouse gas emissions. Our ISO 14001 certification reflects our strong commitment to environmental protection and the responsible management of resources. Our business unit Korott holds the ISO 14001 certification.

Sedex – Sustainable business and supply chain solutions
As ethical conduct, responsible behavior, and a safe working environment are core values for us, we proudly maintain membership with Sedex. This organization helps businesses foster ethical supply chains while ensuring environmental sustainability for future generations. Our two business units Korott and Innopharma hold the SMETA certification.
Bio-Certification according to EU-ÖKO-VO 2018/848
The Bio-Certification according to EU-ÖKO-VO 2018/848 guarantees that raw materials and production processes meet high sustainability and quality standards, prohibiting synthetic pesticides, GMOs, and artificial additives. This certification supports environmental protection, promotes transparency, and allows certified producers to label their products as organic, reinforcing consumer trust and market credibility. Our business units Korott and Euro Vital Pharma hold the Bio-Certification for the natural and clean label product lines.
Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)
Chain of Custody Certificate
The MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certification ensures that fish and seafood is sustainably sourced, verified, and wild-caught. It promotes responsible fishing practices through its Fisheries and Chain of Custody Standards, helping to protect marine ecosystems and ensure the long-term health of fish populations. The MSC blue fish label allows consumers to easily identify whether fish and seafood meets these sustainability standards, supporting a more sustainable seafood market worldwide. Our business unit Korott holds the MSC certification.
SGS-RSPO – Certified Sustainable Palm Oil
The RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certification is an internationally recognized standard for assuring sustainable production of palm oil and palm kernel oil across the supply chain. It guarantees that RSPO-certified members meet sustainability requirements, allowing them to claim and communicate their certification status throughout the supply chain. Our business unit Innopharma produces vitamins, minerals and food supplements using RSPO certified Palm Oil derivates, under MB module.
